Our client is a well-known, trusted and respected national brand, providing the domestic and commercial markets with high quality flooring options. Due to growth, we’re currently seeking a highly motivated Store Manager to join their team. Within this role, you will be well supported and responsible for the day to day operations of your store including attending to customers, supplier and stock management whilst managing and developing your team.

**The role**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to provide the appropriate solutions to meet client needs and to ensure sales targets are achieved
- Manage relationships and actively drive sales opportunities with Real Estates, Designers and Builders to generate revenue opportunities
- Maintain product knowledge and provide training to your team
- Management of staff (2) and rosters
- Maintain supplier relationships
- Ensure quotes are provided and followed up within a timely manner
- Ordering of stock and following up on deliveries
- Maintaining store appearance and cleanliness
- Attending business related functions and events as required
- Ensure individual and store budgets are achieved
- Manage day to day finances through internal systems

**What we’re looking for**:

- A results driven individual with a hunger to succeed both personally and professionally
- Strong previous experience in a sales and/or management
- Experience in retail or building products highly favourable but not essential
- A strong customer focus and the ability to identify client needs and solution sell
- A strong understanding of sales process, the importance of following up of quotes and the ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Strong computer and willingness to learn
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team
- A current driver’s licence
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday’s on a rotational roster
