**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Position**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Open Spaces and Reserves team. Reporting to the Supervisor General Maintenance, this position will develop skills to assist in providing horticultural services to the Shire’s parks, gardens and recreational areas within the Ballina Shire to enhance aesthetics and accessibility.

As a Trainee Horticulture, you will be studying a Certificate III in Horticulture which is estimated to take up to 24 months to complete.
