**About us**:
Project Officers work within the Health Promotion team of Hunter New England Population Health. We are an innovative and dynamic team passionate about providing evidence-based health promotion services to the community and are looking for a Project Officer to join our Wallsend or Tamworth office.

**About the role**:
Health Promotion Project Officers undertake tasks related to the development, delivery and evaluation of health promotion services. They work with partner organisations across diverse settings including clinical units and non-government and community organisations to provide services that prevent and reduce harm from communicable and non-communicable diseases.

**We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with**:

- Well-developed communication and partner engagement skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and independently.
- Ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks on time.
- Creativity and the ability to problem solve.
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health, social science related or PDHPE discipline with a preference for post graduate qualifications or equivalent experience.
