The annual salary is between $54,000 to $63,000.
Lead and mentor your fellow team members
Oversee the smooth daily operation of the room
Monitoring programs, observations and staff performance in conjunction with the Director
Ensure that all policies and procedures, licensing, legislation and regulations are upheld
Ensure ongoing Professional Development of your staff and guiding them in their individual goals (including yourself)
Be an inspiration to colleagues, parents and guardians, the children and the wider community assisting in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups and recording observations for program planning purposes.
Assisting in the supervision, care and education of children and generally to assist in the operation of the Centre.
Developing and delivering a child focused program that has a strong relationship with the natural environment, a holistic approach, is child centered and demonstrates the cycle of planning.
Managing of assistants and working within a team.
Ensuring the outdoor environment is treated as equally as the indoor environment in regards to time spent within each and also creating activities that involve the children to be engaged in both environments.
Be prepared to go on Excursions and organise excursions to our local beach.
The cleaning and all hygiene practices of your room.
Developing strong relationships with families and children.
Following all company policies and procedures.
