About the role

We’re seeking an Asset Management Systems Consultant who will be accountable for the upkeeping and maintenance of key enterprise Asset Management Systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose and aligned to our evolving business needs.

You’ll join an innovative team, who are working with markets across our business to drive excellence in our operations and asset management.

Day-to-day, you will:

- Support Transurban’s asset management systems, in particular overseeing product changes to systems and processes that facilitate access to high-risk sites
- Support service delivery, ensuring that agreed service requirements and business needs are met, as well as ensuring data governance processes are developed and maintained
- Provide a key interface between both technology and business streams at Transurban
- Facilitate and co-ordinate continuous improvement activities, supporting the business to prioritise impactful and valuable uplift and improvement
- Clearly demonstrate Transurban’s values, treating others with dignity and respect, seeking the contribution of others, while holding yourself to the utmost account

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

- Demonstrated experience using asset management software (ideally IBM Maximo and/or Permitted)
- Experience with the development and management of requirements and the ability to comprehend complex business problems and translate these into technical solutions
- The ability to explain the effects of business challenges in both business and technical terms, including the short
- and long-term financial implications
- Strong asset management systems background
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Strong commercial acumen, having worked within a capital-intensive industry/infrastructure across either asset management or technical engineering consulting
