**Nominated position Job Title**:
Refrigeration Technician

**Required Qualifications**:
At least a Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration service field.

**Required Experience**:

- At least two years of experience in this field.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician/Electrician, specializing in the installation and maintenance of various HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of VRF/reverse cycle heat recovery systems, ERV, exhaust and fresh air units, package units, ducted/split systems, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC and electrical issues, with the ability to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

**Required Skills and Licenses**:

- Arctick Refrigerant Full Handling License (Refrigeration Mechanic)
- At least a Restricted Electrical Work license with permit to undertake electrical work on refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment
- QLD Open Australian Driver’s license or equivalent
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

**Proposed tasks**:

- **Project Planning and Execution**: Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to establish job requirements and layout installation reference points. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed to client specifications and industry standards.
- **Installation and Assembly**: Drill holes, install mounting brackets, and cut, bend, and thread piping. Install and repair components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, gauges, and copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil, and chilled water using a variety of methods including bolting, soldering, riveting, welding, and brazing.
- **System Testing and Troubleshooting**: Fill systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks and test-operate refrigeration systems. Diagnose faults by checking mechanisms and making necessary adjustments. Remove test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps, and fill systems with refrigerant.
- **Maintenance and Repair**: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to prolong the lifespan of equipment. Overhaul refrigeration systems, diagnose faults, and repair or replace defective components. Adjust system controls and mechanisms, reassemble systems, and ensure they are operating efficiently.
- **Documentation and Compliance**: Record causes of malfunctioning and actions taken to resolve issues. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

**Proposed Annual Earnings for the position**:
$70,000 per year - $80,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on the years of working experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
