The Manager Retail Models for representing the business throughout the model life cycle of capital and decision models used across the Retail Consumer portfolios. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, sound understanding of credit risk and modelling principles and an ability to collaborate with a range of business partners.
**Role Location**: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 or 242 Pitt Street, Sydney, 2000
**Role Type**: 12 month Opportunity, Full time
What will your day look like?
**Key responsibilities**:
Supporting model development projects from data sourcing, development, approval and implementation
Representing the business in all model risk management activities
Provide expertise to risk, pricing and other stakeholders regarding impacts to capital and profitability of business strategy changes
What will you bring?

**Qualifications**:
5 years experience in retail credit models (development/validation/implementation)
Quantitative degree in statistics, actuarial, econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field
Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Sound understanding of credit scoring, capital models and credit risk
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. SAS, SQL, Python, R, BigQuery)
