**Administration Services**
We have a flexible, permanent part-time opportunity located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney to assist our client with their existing Club administration & operations. This role is 4 days a week 8.30am to 4pm.
The position can offer working hours to suit the successful applicant’s work life balance if unable to commit to working full days. The choice is completely yours.
The essential working days are Mondays and Thursdays, the other days are flexible. It doesn’t get better than this.
Our client is a well established business who is looking for someone with a customer service and general accounting background to take on this Administration Services position.
Duties will include supporting the General Manager and Bookkeeper with the membership and administration functions as well as assisting the Club’s volunteer-based committees.
This role will also include face-to-face interaction with members and their guests as well as a diverse mix of roles and responsibilities.
We are looking for a fun-loving, customer service focused individual who thrives on the challenge of multitasking and interacting with people.
A previous background in accounts payable processes would be an advantage along with MYOB experience. First and foremost, it is all about the members.
If weekend work was something you may find attractive, this could also be an option, as well as some flexibility in the working hours.
Holding a NSW RSA Competency Card is an advantage. If the successful applicant does not hold a valid RSA, our client will immediately assist you in gaining such qualification.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Bookkeeper with the reconciliation of House accounts and subscriptions, file management of accounts payable and keeping on top of day-to-day accounts administration.
- Undertake end-to-end accounts payable involving processing invoices in MYOB, setting up payments in the banking software and reconciling supplier statements.
- In peak times, assist with member account enquiries and outstanding debtors.
- Respond to communications from members and the public.
- Assist with inputting administrative workloads involved with onboarding new employees.
- Update membership platforms and accounting software.
- Undertake a range of administrative support services, office management, and ad hoc tasks.
- Assist the General Manager and the Facilities Manager with stock and supplies ordering and stocktakes.

- Experience dealing with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems or similar software & databases
- Previous experience with accounts payable or bookkeeping
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- High level of customer service and problem-solving skills

- Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise
- Ability to embrace technology
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage enquiries with sensitivity and discretion
- Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a small team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of office equipment -printers, laptops, Eftpos, POS etc
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe)
- Knowledge and understanding of MYOB Accounting System
