The Quality and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with NDIS regulations and promoting quality and safety in the workplace. This includes providing support to management and staff, implementing quality procedures, and promoting a safe environment for all individuals involved with the organisation.

**Client Details**

Adecco is partnering with a leading NDIS support service provider that has a team of experienced and professional support staff dedicated to positive client outcomes. The company focuses on delivering quality disability support services and helping clients achieve their life goals with NDIS services. They work closely with clients to create a personalised plan for success.

**Description**

As the Quality and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Officer, your key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining and improving the Quality Management System in line with NDIS requirements.
- Coordinating and facilitating the response to external audits.
- Providing advice and recommendations on the Quality Management System.
- Compiling agenda and action sheets for monthly meetings.
- Advising management on occupational health and safety obligations and initiatives.
- Leading health and safety initiatives and providing training and support to staff.
- Investigating workplace hazards and ensuring they are reported and addressed.

**Profile**
- A relevant degree or industry experience in Quality Management and/or Work Health and Safety.
- A systems approach to quality, auditing, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation and NDIS.
- A valid Australian driver's license and own reliable car.
- Cleared Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National NDIS Worker Screen Check will be advantageous.
