Undertaking research and contributing to the development of robust transport project evaluation techniques and guidelines
- Leading the development of quantitative models and providing advice and support on economic analysis
- Building relationships with stakeholders across government, industry, and academia
- Representing TMR on organisational and local, state, and national transport issues and policies
- Preparing well-researched reports and policy documents for senior and executive management
- Participating in performance conversations to build a culture of performance improvementDesirable Requirements: - Degree(s) in Economics, Business, Commerce, Data Analysis or Arts with Economics major(s)
- Relevant post-graduate qualification in economics, transport economics, transport planning, financial analysis, or modelling
- Demonstrable experience in providing economic analysis and insights to senior leaders
- Proven skills in economic research and analysis, written and evidence-based reporting, data analytics, and statistical best practices
- Familiarity with transport cost-benefit analysis and the Australian Transport Assessment and Planning Guidelines
