**Casual Lecturer - Fashion & Design**

**About the role**:

- Casual Lecturer position
- Located at Box Hill (Nelson Campus)
- Lecture rate $146.27p/hr, tutorial rate $114.13 p/hr

Box Hill Institute’s Music Higher Education department requires one or more casual employees with advanced knowledge and experience in visual merchandising for retail, fashion buying, fashion retail planning and merchandising, digital marketing, graphic and web design (UX design), and digital commerce to deliver high quality education to students studying in the Bachelor of Design which has 3 majors, (Fashion Design, Fashion Enterprise, and Digital Technologies). The position also requires the successful applicant to develop, maintain and manage teaching resources on our student learning management system.

**About You**:

- Advanced knowledge in visual merchandising for retail, fashion buying, fashion retail planning and merchandising, digital marketing, graphic and web design (UX designer), digital commerce
- Teaching experiences preferred and a passion for sharing knowledge and experience is essential
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the faculty.
- Relevant industry qualifications or experience and an AQF level 8 or higher qualification.

You will need to provide a current National Police Records Check and an Employee category Working with Children Check. You will also need to provide evidence of your entitlement to work in Australia and certified copies of your qualifications.
