**About the role**
- We are seeking a
**Teacher Aide **to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher, in our lower years classrooms.
Duties include:

- general classroom support
- preparation of resources and clearing learning materials
- using technology to support learning activities

Ideally you will have;
- previous experience as a Teacher Aide and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support
- proven communication and interpersonal skills
- an understanding of the work of a primary classroom
- a willingness to work as part of a team

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

**Estimated start date**:Commencing July 2023

**Position tenure**:Fixed Term

**Weeks worked**:School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

**Tenure duration **(where Fixed Term)**:Term 3 and 4 - 2023

**Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required**:5 Days/Week (25 Hours/Week) Monday to Friday

**Salary level, range or hourly rate**:School Officer Level 2 - $29.35 per hour + Super
