**The Role**

This is an exciting brand new role within Big W as a Category & Partnership Manager. You will bring the BIG W Strategy to life by delivering the Category Strategy to create the best range and create value for our customers to maximise sales, profit and customer satisfaction. A key part of this role will be to deliver product innovation and new ranges which meet customer needs where we want to accelerate our pipeline of product in a meaningful way. This role also delivers on partnering with new and existing partners, unlocking new product and partnership opportunities to transform the BIGW business.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver key product and innovation pipelines partnering with brand teams and our supplier partners, identifying market gaps and delivering to market in an accelerated timeline
- Partner with the Commercial team to build the category strategy by gaining a thorough understanding of customer insights & the market to contribute to the BIG W Strategy, make clear recommendations and gain buy in from the relevant teams
- Partners with brand teams and our supplier partners to deliver the best product and the best unit price to deliver for the business and the customer along with our 2025 sustainability goals
- Curate ranges, refine pricing and promotion channel plan in line with Category Strategy, using Customer and Market insights to ensure it’s aligned to BIG W strategies
- Partner with Suppliers to build relationship and optimise supplier portfolio in category to increase sales, profit and customer advocacy
- Working end to end as one team across all Partnership Teams and broader Woolworths Business, thoughtfully creates products and ensures we are are delivering product which is simple to execute in stores and DCs
- To ensure that all products ranged within the category are compliant to Australian consumer law. To understand BIG W's New Product Development process as it relates to the products ranged within your category
- Establish and build partnerships with new and existing business partners. Enable discovery, strategy and execution of new partnerships from inception through to in store and digital solutions
- Role model BIG W Purpose, Values and Ways of Working

**About You**
To be successful in this role and thrive in our high performing and innovative culture, you will have a balance of commercial and strategic capability. You will have collaborative ways of working to help realise BIG W’s ambition of becoming a digitally led retailer that is a customer first and team first and that lives our purpose every day.

**In addition, you will have**
- Previous experience in a category management role across categories
- Strong Project Management experience
- You love products and build ranges from scratch
- Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills
- End to end category strategy experience
