**The Opportunity**
Monash Animal Research Platform (MARP) is seeking to appoint a Laboratory Animal Reproductive Specialist to be a key player in the realm of advanced reproductive services at Monash University. With a profound impact on the delivery of a range of significant and specialised assisted reproduction services, this position will oversee and perform complex activities such as microinjection, cryopreservation, embryo transfer, phenotyping, in vitro fertilization and more. These advanced reproductive techniques will contribute to the generation of important animal models of disease for the biomedical research community.
In addition to performing advanced reproductive procedures, his position is entrusted with responsibilities ranging from developing operating procedures, performing data analysis, equipment testing and maintenance to operational planning. Operating within a compliant and safe environment, the Laboratory Animal Reproductive Specialist will also contribute to reproductive unit service planning and sharing knowledge and expertise in the dynamic field of advanced reproductive services.
