**The opportunity**
The program has grown quite quickly and one of the next pieces of work is the specification, selection and implementation of a new telephony/unified communications system and we are looking for an experienced Solution Designer to join our on site team in Melbourne's outer Western suburbs.
Role:
- Work with the PM and BA and assist with the development and specification of business requirements
- Work with the Architecture Design Authority to understand the current and future state technology architecture
- Work with the various business areas to define expected integrations and technical requirements
- Using knowledge of the market assist in the evaluation and recommendation of selected solution and vendor
- Provide solution design and architectural oversight of the solution during implementation
- Other support and technical design tasks as necessary
To qualify for this opportunity you will have:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team
- Demonstrated ability to work with business and technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate understanding of **Unified Communications and Cloud Telephony solutions**:
- Demonstrated experience extracting and defining business and technical requirements
- Experience as Solution Architect/Designer on a unified comms/cloud telephony solution project
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous, relatively immature environment
- Ability to provide consultation to non-technical stakeholders on technical solutions
- Be a strong team player
The role will be up until the end of June 2024, **on site in Melbourne Western suburbs 3 days per week**.
