**The opportunity**
Working within the Customer Line of Business at MYOB, The Tax & Compliance domain is crafting the tools of the trade for our accounting and book-keeping practices.
Practices partnering with MYOB are a primary driver of growth for the business, through our Practice solutions, as well as referrals for our SME accounting solutions.
**The Role**
You will join a collaborative, multi-functional agile team, working to deliver cutting edge tax and compliance systems and enabling new user experiences within this broad and dynamic domain.
As a Developer working in Practice, you will build Customer experiences that allow our partner accountants and book-keepers to join a growing community of practices benefiting from our software, network, and services.
Being a Developer, the other technologists in the team will work with you to balance your experience, provide mentoring and guidance when it comes to building outstanding software. In addition to this, you'll be challenged with technical discoveries and working with your team to find scalable and quality solutions to overcome them.
**What will you bring;**
- You have experience in backend and frontend languages. (We use primarily React..NET framework and core and Node.js) and are familiar with their benefits and drawbacks and bring your SQL knowledge or expertise.
- You are an advocate of quality and understand the need to build out phenomenal test coverage.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Containers and Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
- You've worked on deploying cloud-based solutions to AWS using standard methodologies.
- You work well other devs, coming up with solutions, participating in code-reviews, pairing/mobbing or driving this practice.
- You are proactive, self-motivated, but you also enjoy working collaboratively and like to learn from the experience.
- You give and receive feedback to improve yourself and others.
- You love to learn Whether from books, blogs, or those around you.
- Lastly, you are happiest when you are somewhere you can have an impact. In other words, you Love Your Work
