- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Department's ICT cybersecurity in-line with the Department’s ICT strategy and technical policies to deliver services that are secure, reliable, flexible, performant and efficient.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace that understands the importance of flexibility. **Duties**:

- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Department's Cybersecurity Action Plan, Data Breach Incident Plan and ICT cybersecurity in line with the Department’s ICT Strategy and technical policies to deliver services that are secure, reliable, flexible and efficient.
- Assist the Team Leader Cybersecurity by investigating, analysing, and introducing new systems, policies and processes that enhance the continuity, efficiency, and security of the cybersecurity environment in-line with the Department’s cyber related strategies including daily operational tasks, requests, and reviews.
- Develop and support the implementation of WoG cyber projects, which require coordination, implementation and testing, in combination with Corporate Technology Services related to specialised environments including Essential 8, Microsoft Defender, Azure and vulnerability scanning services.
- Create, review and update ICT processes, procedures, and documentation in order to capture cybersecurity events, With a focus on education and training in order to improve operational cybersecurity practices and knowledge.
- Provide authoritative support and guidance in the implementation of cybersecurity protection measures within projects and technical services to meet Department outcomes.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- A Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a relevant discipline
- A current car drivers licence
