Acquainted Talent are proud to be partnering with a premium food manufacturer in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs. With approximately 400 staff across two sites and multiple retail outlets, this organisation has grown organically since coming into the market over 25 years ago.

This is a newly created role and an opportunity for an OHS Coordinator to support the OHS Manager in ensuring the overall site and facilities are safe and that staff are well versed in safe systems of work. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has completed their Cert 4 and is looking to gain more practical experience in a high risk setting.

**Duties include**:

- Ensuring all OH&S practices are being implemented on site.
- Engaging with all employees, Managers and Supervisors to ensure safety responsibilities are understood and acted upon.
- Assisting in both 3rd party audits and internal safety audits.
- Support the Return to Work process; liaise with injured employees and assist with RTW programs.
- Identify and address safety hazards on site.

This is a diverse role that will be hands-on and operational; it’ll give you fantastic exposure to a range of risks and you’ll be well supported by the OHS Manager and wider team.
