Ielts Teacher

Pacific English Study is an Australian Government CRICOS accredited ELICOS school located in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Due to increasing student numbers, we are looking for a permanent IELTS teacher.

The position reports to the Director of Studies and has the following ESSENTIAL requirements.
- At least 2 years experience teaching IELTS Academic and General formats.
- Plan and provide dynamic, engaging, and interesting IELTS lessons to maintain student interest.
- Have a strong understanding of the IELTS requirements.
- Ability to use the school’s teaching resources - hard copy and online.
- Ability to use online Student Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to use an internal Administration Management System.
- Ensure correct record keeping (ROW and Student Attendance)
- Ensure student assessment procedures are consistent and complete.
- Manage students’ individual needs and cultural sensitivities.
- Be a supportive and positive team player.
- Participate in internal personal development courses as required.
- Be punctual, reliable and maintain a professional attitude when dealing with students and colleagues.
- Have a consistent eye for detail in all aspects of teaching and administrative requirements.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree
- Certificate IV in TESOL or above
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching IELTS Academic and General.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Temp to perm

Pay: Up to $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
