**The Company**:
This is a global distributor of industrial products, that operates nationally to provide a wide range of services, sales and installations via their extensive national branch network. The US parent company continues to invest in the Australian operation across systems, people and infrastructure, creating significant growth opportunities. They are looking for a People & Wellbeing Business Partner to join them.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

**The Opportunity**:
The main focus of the role will be to support a range of HR strategies, providing operational and strategic advice to business, operations and support teams. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Responsibility for the provision of generalist HR advice and support, in line with the needs of internal clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance and minimise risk
- Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, building them through credibility and open communication
- Managing and maintaining relevant documentation across key areas such as training, onboarding, and safety
- Lead and coach performance development frameworks and structure progression plans to meet goals and objectives
- Taking a lead role in driving best practice in key areas, and aligning employees at all levels with compliance
- Managing employee relations and limited industrial relations in a positive and proactive manner to support the business needs
- Gather and present data for monthly reporting purposes, while implementing best practice
- Support the development, implementation, and execution of strategy and framework throughout the business
- Working alongside management, address and resolve disciplinary issues
- Provide high level reports on safety hazards / risks and incidents company wide

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Qualification in Human Resources or similar
- Strong Experience (5 years+) in generalist HR within a multisite environment
- Experience with IR and knowledge of current IR Legislation (a must)
- Demonstrated experience utililizing a continuous improvement mindset
- A proven track record in business partnering, thinking strategically and delivering operationally
- Able to manage change and drive results that contribute to individual and business success
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the ability to influence and build effective relationships with ease
- Confidence in tailoring and implementing programmes and delivering to all levels of staff across a multisite environment (a must)
- HRIS software experience (Workday highly regarded) and confident in MO suite
