Assisting the Audit Director to provide clients with a full range of professional auditing services, this role reports to the Director - Audit Services and is responsible for the timely completion of assigned tasks, keeping track of workflow and task deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field. Minimum three years of accounting experience.
PRIMARY WORK TASKS
- Complete assigned auditing tasks
- Allocate responsibilities to junior and other staff members
- Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
- Perform effective risk and control assessments
- Complete audits on time and submit reports to auditing director
- Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
- Coordinate periodical audits
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as an auditor,
- In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices,
- Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations,
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and auditing software,
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills,
- Attention to detail,
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills,
- Organisational and leadership abilities
- Integrity and reliability
- Ability to work in a team environment.
