**Exercise Physiologist**

**Warners Bay Private Hospital, Warners Bay**

**Temporary Part Time (5 Months period)**

The position will predominantly be based within the inpatient mental health gym.
- The successful applicant will primarily be working with mental health inpatients, with opportunities to work within the rehab inpatient/outpatient service depending on referrals.
- **31 hours/fortnight on offer with opportunity to increase depending on Day Program Rehabilitation demand**

**About the Role**
- As an Exercise Physiologist you are responsible for facilitating a gym program for patients requiring inpatient Mental Health care as well as opportunity to conduct group therapy sessions on an as needed basis for our Rehabilitation Day Program (predominantly orthopaedics)
- This includes conducting clinical assessments, formulating intervention plans and implementing them along with managing the full documentation of each case.

**About You**
- We are looking for an experienced Exercise Physiologist who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
- You will bring a strong clinical skillset in rehabilitation with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service

You will also demonstrate;
- Exercise Physiology qualification and ESSA registered
- Minimum 2 years’ experience including rehabilitation and outpatients is desirable
- A flexible approach to work in a developing service
- Highly developed assessment and intervention skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills and effective communication skills
- Provide a quality customer focused service

**Remuneration**:
**Health Professional Level 1/2, as per HSU Award, based on years of experience**

**Requirements**:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
