**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 6-month contract paying up to $50/Hour + Super. This role is located in Sydney Olympic Park.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a HR Officer with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible a range of research, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative activities to support the delivery of People & Culture and WHS services.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Assist in the development and implementation on a range of people & culture initiatives that support a positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle.
- Undertake research and support the creation delivery of briefs and written reports that are comprehensive, informative and provide data & insight on a range of people & culture matters.
- Coordinate aspects of projects and its implementation to support the people & culture branch to implement initiatives to increase the effectiveness of our staff and people leaders as well as supporting the delivery of our people strategy.
- Prepare a range of project related documents such as status updates, reports, discussion papers etc as required to assist with flow of information and project deliverables.
- Support with the development and best practice research to maintain HR related policies, procedures, guidelines etc that support the delivery of our People Strategy.
- Support the seamless implementation of HR systems for our staff, Managers and the Executive Team.
- Assist in the development of people & culture advice and support staff on a range of People & Culture related activities including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, induction, development, performance, engagement, diversity & inclusion, workplace health and safety etc.
- Identify team opportunities for ongoing improvement in the HR service delivery as well as collaborating across the people & culture branch to delivery these.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources related discipline or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Exceptional organisational, administration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Previous Government experience is preferred.
