**What you'll be doing**

To ensure ISLHD develops, implements and maintains a Partnering with Consumers Framework to support effective consumer partnerships in:

- in organisational planning, design and governance
- to support the delivery of individual care - including for effective communication and shared decision making.
- to provide health information that is effective, easy to use and understand.

Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in social, or behavioural sciences, or in a health related discipline e.g. nursing, psychology, social work or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of issues in partnering with community advisory groups and consumers from diverse backgrounds, consumers with a disability and /or consumers with low health literacy.
- Demonstrated well developed written, verbal communication and presentation skills, including experience in the preparation of reports.
- Leadership and consultative skills demonstrated by the ability to engage with health professionals and other key stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated high level time management and organisation skills and capacity to deliver high quality work within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise training and education tools for staff at all levels of the organisation in relation to health literacy and diversity health.
- Demonstrated capacity to develop and monitor strategic and business plans including ability to identify and meet performance measures.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise statistical tools for analysing, synthesising, reporting and implementing findings to continually improve patient care and service provision.
