VICNA, a leading nursing agency, is currently seeking experienced and passionate Aged Care professionals to join their team. We are looking for **Enrolled Nurses** and **Personal Care Assistants** for casual shifts in various locations across Brisbane. As part of our team, you will have the freedom to choose your working hours and locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality care and support to elderly individuals in residential aged care facilities
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess the overall health and well-being of residents
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and Australian Aged Care regulations
- Utilise popular Aged Care Systems such as LeeCare, iCare, Autumn Care, or be willing to learn them
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records of resident care
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled Nurses (ENs) must have current AHPRA registration
- **Australian Certificate III or IV** (Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability) for PCA's and at least one year of work experience
- All applicants must possess a valid and current (up to 3 years) National Police Check and NDIS Screening
- Manual Handling Training certification is required and should be valid and current
- Current CPR (1 year) and First Aid (up to 3 years) certifications
- Familiarity with the new Aged Care Standards, including SIRS, is desirable
- Good understanding of Infection Control Standards in Australian Aged Care
- Must have the right to work in Australia
