**The Organisation**

The Women’s Health Unit is a dynamic environment that will provide many opportunities for your professional and personal development. The department offers a range of services, including antenatal care, childbirth, postnatal care, gynaecological surgeries, and reproductive health services. These include the use of advanced technology, such as fetal monitoring systems, and the implementation of evidence-based guidelines and protocols.

**The Job**
- As an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar, you will work in a large regional obstetrics and gynaecology service and supervise junior HMO and nursing staff as required
- You will provide day-to-day care and supervision to patients of the maternity and gynaecology units under the direction of the consultant obstetrician and gynaecologists.
- You will fulfil duties as outlined in the duty roster of the post undertaken.
- As an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar, you will continually update and extend personal medical knowledge and skills, regularly attend clinical meetings and remain familiar with current medical literature.
- You will participate in quality improvement activities.

**Requirements**:

- Current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
