**The opportunity**:
This opportunity is for a fixed term for a 12 month parental leave contract. The Primary Objective of the Garment Technician is to provide clear instructions on design and technical garment construction to Vendors to ensure high quality and well-constructed garments. Working alongside Design and Production teams to ensure that garments meet the quality and construction standards required by the business.
**Key duties and responsibilities**:
**RESEARCH / CONCEPT STAGE**
- Fit and measure overseas samples on fit model
**RANGE DEVELOPMENT STAGE**
- Measurement Specs completed (Excel experience)
- Send tech packs to suppliers (Illustrator experience)
- Manage trim and label sets
**PROTO DEVELOPMENT**
- Supplier liaising on spec pack questions
- Proto Samples Fit and measure on size 10 fit model
- Proto Sample Comments Sent, SMS fabric ordered
**SMS DEVELOPMENT**
- Manage Sales feedback - injection pieces, new colourways
- Manage retail injection styles - Develop specs to send to suppliers
- SMS samples fit and measure on a size 10 fit model
- Send SMS comments to suppliers
**PRODUCTION**
- Care labels, Factory testing reports
- PP sample fittings
- PP Comments sent to factories
- Produce graded spec for suppliers
- Manage bulk fabric approvals
- QC approval process - ensuring these are booked in and checking reports/providing approvals back to factory to ship.
- Measure and approve Shipment samples
