Our client located in WETHERILL PARK is a leader in the Engineering industry now have a positions available CNC MILL /** MACHINE OPERATOR **to join their team.

1x NIGHT SHIFT

Pay rate will be between $35 & $38 per hour plus shift allowance plus overtime

The available position will be scheduled to work Sunday - Thursday day shifts with opportunities for overtime and weekend work where required.

Within his position you will be required to operate and programme machinery to cut metal sizes per customer requirements, operate overhead crane to load and unload metal sheets onto cutting bay.

assist with general duties on the factory floor including general housekeeping to ensure a safe work environment is maintained.

**To be considered for this opportunity you MUST**:

- Proven experience in a production, maintenance, warehouse or similar industrial environment.
- Experience in manual handling
- Trade qualification
- Minimum 5years' experience
- CNC milling machine (Sachman preferable)
- Proven experience in CNC Programming
- Heidenheim controller experience preferred
- Lathe machinist
- Highly skilled autonomous operator
- Ability to interpret and work off drawings
- Ability to measure using various types of measuring equipment (Vernier, calliper's and micrometers)
- Able to work unsupervised
- Good attention to detail
- Motivated, hardworking and reliable
- High level organisation skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
- Clear problem solver, proven ability to understand and deal with difficult questions or situations.
- Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)
- Currently have the right to work in Australia
- Pass a Police Check
