**Purpose of the role**:
**Responsibilities will include**:
Learning to be able to handle different administrative elements of the business such as:

- Drafting of Policy Documentation and updating of reports to be checked by Underwriters
- Submissions (ensure the renewal submissions are logged correctly, review the info pack and refer/discuss with Underwriters)
- Monitor renewal status and follow up with brokers
- Binding (assistance in reviewing the slips and wordings, checking sanctions, complete Appsure binding, ensuring all appropriate documents are on file)
- Endorsement - review any endorsement enquiries for approval by an Underwriter with appropriate authority
- Contract certainty - report the correct policies monthly
- Finance - Liaise with the credit control team to ensure Premiums, taxes and charges received are accurate to the data entered into our systems
- Understanding of Canopius Australian Casualty risk appetite and guidelines
- Communicate with brokers and assist brokers’ enquiries
- Review declarations and bordereaux received on the Binder portfolio to ensure the premium and claims are correct in the system
- Assistance generating monthly reports and auditing accounts when needed.

Provide ad-hoc project support such as:

- Internal system and process testing
- Business change and needs based planning
- Appsure input and communication of any problems or issues
