**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join the team here at the Welshpool Office.
- Manage all data (events, work orders, backlogs) in AMT to ensure accurate information is being captured and downtime coded to correct responsibilities based on the contract
- Review MTBF Data and MTTR Data and provide strategies to improve
- Review downtime contributors using a Pareto analysis or similar and provide strategies to improve any shortfalls
- Manage critical spares on site in conjunction with the Maintenance Managers and store persons to ensure sufficient and correct stock is held onsite to support the fleet
- Track and analyse GET, Tyre and Undercarriage wear rates and look for different products or strategies to improve any shortfalls in where products don’t meet expected life
- Provide component planning to the maintenance managers for 3 monthly forecasts that can be submitted to the client
- Assist in planning major shutdowns on Cat, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment
- Review compliance to plan - Provide strategies for any shortfalls in the project's ability to execute the planned work

**Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience with a varied range of mining equipment & heavy plant maintenance
- Experience using AMT software and the ability to assist the training of others
- Experience using ALS oil monitoring and entire tyre management systems
- 5 years mining maintenance experience with a minimum of 2 years in planning or scheduling disciplines
- Sound knowledge of heavy mobile equipment condition monitoring and analysis
- The ability to budget and forecast components
- Mechanical trade background
- High level of attention to detail
- Good time management skills
