**About You/ Role**

Are you a collaborative problem solver with a passion for data analysis and data-driven solutions? We're seeking a Lead Data Analyst (Data Science) to join our dynamic team and drive actionable insights that optimise services, transform delivery, and enhance user satisfaction.

In this role, effective communication, and stakeholder buy-in are crucial for success. You will need to collaborate closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure that your insights are translated into tangible solutions. We're searching for someone with data science and analytical expertise, a technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in managing and delivering complex data science and analytics projects.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills
- Technical proficiency and experience with data science tools and methods
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Project management experience and ability to manage complex projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in information management or related and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
