**The role**:
**This position plays a pivotal role in aligning our organisational processes with the goals outlined in the Digital Transformation Plan. This position is dedicated to evaluating the impact of IT and digital initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition in line with the broader objectives of the transformation plan. By conducting thorough change impact assessments and risk analyses, the specialist contributes directly to the successful implementation of digital technologies, people, and processes outlined in the plan. The primary goal is to facilitate a seamless digital transformation that fundamentally improves business performance and supports Banyule City Council's commitment to meeting the dynamic needs of our community.
**Skills, experience and certificates**:

- **Tertiary qualifications with extensive experience within Information Technology, Business, Commerce, Communications or Human Resources field.**:

- **Industry certification in an organisational change management methodology. PROSCI accreditation is desirable.**:

- **Demonstrated success in the management of organisational change and communication activities for IT and service delivery projects, ideally within large and complex organisations.**
- **Demonstrated experience in recommending the appropriate level of organisational change activities based on risk assessment and providing the estimated effort and project costs.**:

- **Exceptional communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills**:

- **Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.**:

- **Strong understanding of IT systems solutions, projects and the system development lifecycle.**
