**Technical Writer** (with minimum 2+ years of experience) for a
**Defence software tech partner**, currently delivering
**cutting-edge software solutions** at the
**DST Group Edinburgh**.

Experience, Qualifications & Expectations:

- **Mandatory - Must be holding an NV1** **Clearance**:

- Proven working experience in technical writing related to software documentation
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with great attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills in plain English
- Create clear and concise technical documentation for software products
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of all documentation
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Atlassian Confluence or Markdown
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of software user manuals, release notes, and other supporting documentation

Advantageous:

- Basic familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle
- Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
