Origin Institute is a Registered Training Organisation specialised in building and construction training. We provide the national accredited qualifications and short courses for both domestic and international markets. We help students to achieve their career goals by providing innovative learning experiences.
**About the role**
The RTO Admission and Administration Officer is specifically responsible for ensuring all aspects of the enrolment processes are managed to an excellent standard. The Enrolment Officer is the first point of contact for prospective students. A high level of professionalism, efficiency and timely communication are integral to this role.
Also being responsible for office administration and student support the position requires a high level of organisation skills to ensure all students have a supportive and professional learning environment.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Manage all aspects of the enrolment process, including, for example, continuous improvement of the on-line process, data entry, entry, exit and updating of contact details using the RTOManager.
- Provide support service to any students who require help with their training program.
- To set up and maintain the timetable and room allocations as per the management requirements.
- To prepare any report for students' daily attendance and training finalisation. Upload finalisation report to the government portal if required.
**Key selection criteria**:
- Demonstrated experience in administrative competencies and high-level office administration, ideally within the education sector.
- Proficiency in using RTO Student Management System will be preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in handling student's enrolment.
- Proficiency in using office processing software such as Microsoft Office 365
- Establish good rapport and effective communications with potential students, parents/carers and referral agencies, presenting Origin Institute and what it offers in a positive and professional manner.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills in a busy RTO environment.
- Be able to work Part-time basis any 3 or 4 days including Saturday from home.
**Qualifications and education requirements**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or other related discipline is preferred but not essential
