Ventia partners with leading Electrical asset providers to deliver maintenance and construction works on Transmission lines. Venetia’s contract covers the entire SA network, including project upgrades, capital works and routine maintenance. An opportunity has arisen for Transmission lineworkers to predominately work across the SA state with occasional work in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Exceptional opportunities to progress in live line barehand and leadership roles.

The primary purpose of this role is to undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity transmission networks. It is essential that you have demonstrated experience working in transmission roles as well as strong adherence to all safety policies and procedures. This position will suit a reliable, highly motivated person who has the ability to work under pressure.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Working closely with the site supervisor on executing the works program.
- Plan and organise equipment for the task issued to you by the site supervisor.
- Follow work to all HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements.
- Stringing and terminating overhead conductors.
- Climbing of transmission structures.
- Upgrade and construction of new and existing assets. Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps.**Conditions**
- Flexibility - 11 / 3 Roster.
- 10-hour days.
- LAHA when working away. (Paid fortnightly) Remote Locations.**Qualifications**
- Hold a Certificate III ESI in Transmission Overhead.
- Construction White Card.
- Work at Heights.
- Tower Rescue.
- Ewp escape.
- First aid.
- CPR trained.
- Dogging and; Rigging licence.
- Relevant state electrical licence.
- High risk work licence.
- Willing to travel. Live line barehand and stick will be desirable.**About Ventia**
