**Your role**:
As a
**Data & AI Consultant** you will be involved in delivering projects based on the Microsoft Azure Data Services. This will include developing components, peer reviewing code and contributing to the Intellectual Property library.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan the design and delivery of solutions that meet business requirements into new and existing data solutions.
- Continue to develop technical capabilities and knowledge and provide mentorship to other team members.
- Strong technical background with experience of delivering solutions ‘from the ground up’.
- Data modelling experience and solid theoretical knowledge of best practice for star schema design.
- Self-starting, ability to own a problem through to resolution, pragmatic and flexible approach.
- A logical approach to problem solving and an investigative and inquisitive mind.
- Experience in working in disciplined project environment and delivering to project schedule deadlines.
- To review, create and maintain internal documentation and processes with the primary goal of achieving service delivery efficiencies

**Key Technical Skills**:

- Designing and Implementing Modern Data Warehouse Solutions using Microsoft Azure Data Services
- Designing and Implementing Data Warehouse Solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
- Designing and Implementing Data Analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI

**Desirable Technical Skills**:

- Exposure to one or more of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud
- Exposure to RDMS systems
- Exposure to reporting / analytics solutions such as Tableau, Qlik View or Qlik Sense
- Exposure to data integration tools such as Informatica, Oracle or Talend
