**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Faculty of Education, Service Skills and Environment provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department of Early Childhood Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively teach theoretical, practical sessions and assess units of competency for our Certificate IV in School Based Education Support.

The successful applicants will provide professional assessment and support to students in the workplace for the Certificate IV in School Based Education Support program. Students are placed across a range of areas and in various educational settings.

**Salary**:$82.01 p/h - $88.60 p/h + 10.5% superannuation
**Location**:Waverley and/or Moorabbin Campus
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Position Status**:Casual

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful you will possess the following:

- Primary/Secondary school or Special Education trained preferred.
- Previous experience in a training or assessing role would be an advantage.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to support and mentor students.
- Hold the CHC40213 or CHC40221 qualification preferred.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 required.
