Dispatch Officer

With a long established history in the Produce Industry, we distribute our fresh food products 12 months of the year into every major market nationally. To support the continuous growth of our group, we are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dispatch Officer/Store person to join our team based in the Melbourne Produce Markets in Epping, Victoria.

The role will be suited to those who have pick-pack and transport background with proven experience in providing day-to-day support to a fast paced logistics environment. This role will require you to liaise closely with all internal departments as well as external service providers.

**We offer a competitive salary package on the basis that you MUST have the ability to work on a 6-day rotating roster, including WEEKENDS and PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.**

**Roles & Responsibilities include but are not limited to;**
- Stacking, consolidating and labelling produce crates and cartons before dispatch
- Repetitive lifting, must be able to lift between 10-15kgs when required
- Machine operation may be required for different sections/products
- Maintain a high level of WHS and have a strong understanding of Company policies to ensure that these requirements are being met at all times
- High attention to detail and ensuring quality and compliance is reviewed prior to dispatch
- Ensuring correct PPE is worn and used at all times

**To be successful for this role you must have;**
- Current Drivers License
- Current Forklift License
- Have past experience working in a warehousing and/or manufacturing environment
- Have high attention to detail
- Have past experience working in a fast paced environments
- Be reliable, honest and have a positive, can do attitude
- Must be able to work in a multicultural team environment
- Be happy to undertake repetitive work and manual labour
- Physically fit with the ability to load and unload truck within safety guidelines
- Good communication, time and organisational skills
- Must be fluent in English

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse Storage: 1 year (preferred)
- Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:

- EPPING, VIC 3076 (required)
