**About the role**:
We are seeking motivated and energetic Casual Shop Assistants, who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people in need and providing excellent customer service to our customers. This position is working between multiple locations in the areas of Blacktown, Penrith, Mount Druitt, St Mary's and Katoomba stalls.

**Key responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Ensure shop monies are always secure and a safe workplace is maintained
- Provide excellent customer service and a holistic experience to customers
- Provide leadership to Volunteers and be a role model to engender an environment where Anglicare’s mission and vision are embraced
- Ensure Volunteers are supported and foster strong teamwork
- Complete and submit appropriate shop paperwork in an accurate and timely manner

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in a retail environment and a valid Working with Children's Check (willing to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to relate to a diverse customer group with compassion and kindness
- Excellent customer service and retail experience
- Well-developed numeracy skills
- Covid19 vaccination, unless assessed exempt
