**Job posting end date**:
Metso Outotec is looking for experienced Boilermakers to join our new workshop in Forrestfield. These are permanent roles.

**RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE**:
Ensure all safety inductions and procedures have been completed prior to undertaking any tasks.
Mark out/off structural fabrication and shapes according to specifications.
After dressing has been completed by the steelyard, prepare material for bending, drilling or machining.
Assemble and weld parts according to technical engineering drawings and route sheets.
Repair, replace, modify and fabricate using appropriate tools and welding techniques.
Perform appropriate welding to carry out the job.
Operate hand tools and power tools appropriate to the job.
Draw and interpret sketches appropriate to the job.
Operate forklift/crane when required to shift and load equipment.
Draw and interpret sketches appropriate to the job.
Assist in the provision of on-the-job training when required.
Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components during general fabrication section activities.
Conduct QA /QC inspections at 3rd party vendors, ensuring all Repairs/project works are to Metso Outotec standards, liaising with Engineering and product support as necessary.

**TO SUCCEED**:
Essential

Boilermaker Trade Certificate.
Significant boiler making experience.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Strong attention to detail

Current dogman’s ticket
