**The Job**

**Assisting Dermatologists**

1. Explaining Brisbane Skin Processes

2. Medical History taking and accurate documentation

3. Preparing and presenting patients for a dermatologist consultation

4. Scribing during dermatologist consultation

5. Taking photographs of dermatological conditions as directed

6. Patient liaison post dermatologist consultation

7. Advise patients on product options and recommendations Dermatology Registrar Patient Consultations

8. Explaining Brisbane Skin Processes for Registrar Consultations

9. Medical History taking and accurate documentation

10. Develop an initial treatment plan

11. Taking photographs of dermatological conditions

12. Communicate treatment plan to head dermatologist for review

13. Facilitate and/or perform treatment options dependent

upon level of training

14. Advise patients on product options and recommendations

15. Patient follow-up and co-ordination of ongoing treatment

**Patient Treatments**

16. Complete all training as per Brisbane Skin requirements

17. Provide patients treatments as planned in accordance with Brisbane Skin treatment protocols

18. Provide patient education

19. Complete post treatment follow ups

**Other**

Be actively involved in public education with respect to skin care, skin cancer prevention, and surgical and rejuvenation options.

Dermatology Registrars are supported by clinical assistants, nurses, therapists, and an administration team

23. Significant experience in Dermatology

24. You will be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia

25. This position is suitable for overseas trained dermatologists

**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- 5 Kyabra Street Newstead, QLD 4006: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
