**Key responsibilities**:

- Managing the lawns and gardens at multiple sites per day as well as managing your small team.
- Support the general hands to build positive team relationships that reflects our values.
- All aspects of lawn care, including treating weeds, pest and disease in small to broad acre sized lawns.
- Use of lawn mowers - self-propelled, walk behinds and zero turn ride-ons.
- Use of a whipper snipper
- Hedging, pruning and minor tree pruning using hedge trimmers and saws.
- Weeding, mulching and general garden care.
- Preparation and minor maintenance of all equipment being used in day to day duties.
- Ensure contract specifications and scheduling requirements are being met.
- Work closely with the operations manager to reach team goals on site.

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for applicants with experience in horticultural maintenance, as well as the following:

- Certificate II or higher in Horticulture (Landscaping/Parks and Gardens) or a minimum of 3 years industry experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to assess and complete tasks as they arise.
- A high level of customer service
- Fit with a Broad-minded “can do” attitude.
- Be physically fit, reliable with a strong work ethic and be self motivated.
- Safety conscious attitude ensuring tasks are always completed to a safe standard.
- WHS White Card or be willing to obtain.
- National Police Check or be willing to obtain.
- Working with Children or be willing to obtain.
- Hold a current Full driver licence (confident towing a trailer)
- Capable and confident using a Zero turn ride on mower.

**What GJs Property Management offer employees?**
- Competitive hourly rate upward of $30/hr plus superannuation (dependent on experience and qualifications) + work vehicle.
- Full-time, permanent position - Immediate Start
- Normal working hours are 7.00am to 3.00pm with overtime opportunities available.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
