- The purpose of the role is to provide high-level leadership and advice on wildlife conservation, management, and monitoring programs, including the delivery of projects within the Orange bellied Parrot Tasmanian Program.The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania is committed to investing in its people to ensure a sustainable and successful organisation through a positive workplace culture and highly capable employees. **Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

**Duties**:
The purpose of the role is to provide high-level leadership and advice on wildlife conservation, management, and monitoring programs, including the delivery of projects within the Orange bellied Parrot Tasmanian Program.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- A Degree in Science, as provided by a university.
- Physical ability to undertake tree climbing and other physical work associated with wildlife management.
- ABBBS banding authority (A- or R- class)
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications
- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence
- Coxswains Certificate
- Firearms licence
