**Position and Responsibilites**:
**Part-time (approx.50) and fixed-term for 2025**
Braemar College is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Art. The opportunity includes teaching Years 5-8 Art. You will be able to teach in a new and well-resourced facility. We continue to embed a culture of personalised learning with an integrated approach, to achieve high standards of learning and teaching for all students.
- Maintain high standards of learning and teaching, assessment, and reporting that is relevant, collaborative, and future-focused.
- Deliver and promote student well-being within the College.
- Use data to inform differentiated practice.
- Have excellent knowledge of Art.
**About You**:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Australian Curriculum Framework.
- Be a highly skilled and dedicated teacher who contributes to the Learning Area.
- Display sound knowledge of teaching pedagogies and practices with a focus on developing students' knowledge and skills.
- Be dynamic and inspire our students to develop their creative abilities through the Visual Arts.
- Have a tertiary teaching qualification and teaching experience relevant to Art.
- Have a proven ability to participate effectively in a team environment.
- Be a current Teacher registered with VIT.
In addition, the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and commitment to, the ethos of Independent Schooling and a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the College's 'Child Safety Policy'.
