An Exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a young, vibrant and fast-paced trading company, servicing the voluntary and compliance carbon markets and delivering Exchange and Registry technology to new partners. We have an offices in London, Gold Coast, Chile and Mumbai and you will be liaising with other members of the team in those locations.

Carbon Trade Exchange is an online exchange platform for the trading of environmental commodities and Global Environmental Markets develops and licences its technology to partners. Based in Surfers Paradise, our company has a global reach with clients in 28 countries.

We are looking for someone with demonstratable experience in providing EOM reporting. Experience in cross currency reconcilation is desirable. However we are able to train in this area. You will need to peform all of the tasks below:

- Record supplier payments and office expenses in Xero accounting software
- Daily financial and exchange reconciliation
- Fortnightly and Monthly payroll
- Prepare annual budgets
- Accounting data entry in Xero Accounting software for the GEM Group of Companies
- Make end-of-month journals, financial statements including P&L and Balance Sheet, consolidated and additional reports as required.

You will be required to work approximately 15 hours per week and you are able to choose the days that you prefer. There is some WFH after hours to liaise with the CEO based in London.

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour
