Your roleAs the Digital Enablement - Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the development and management of digital systems that enable our Construction team (and others) to deliver on our purpose: building a confident, resilient Victoria through world-leading harm prevention and recovery.You will leverage from your outstanding experience to analyse and assess business requirements and construct detailed user stories and product specifications. You will dive into data to extract valuable insights and narratives that will guide key stakeholders in making informed decisions for product build. You will identify and translate areas of improvement into actionable requirements to shape our innovative digital transformation.Your primary focus is the construction and insurance functionality in our core platform, Client360, where we manage the end-to-end needs of our clients. You're a key member of the Digital Enablement Team, which defines the overarching vision and development roadmap for this platform.Your role reports to the Manager of digital Enablement. You have a secondary reporting line to the Head of Construction in the Risk, Insurance, and Claims Services Division. What you do
- You collect information on internal user and client needs in the construction insurance area and ensure this information is considered in the digital enablement roadmap.
- You lead the analysis and innovation of end-to-end business processes for the Construction Team to increase efficiency and/or client value.
- You may act as a business lead for digital development projects.
- You support the Client360 Development Team to scope, design, and build the digital functionality needed for end-to-end processes, including approving user stories for development.
- You assess change impacts and lead the deployment of new business processes to the Construction Team (and others), including digital and non-digital aspects*, supported by the Implementation Team.
- You support internal users and clients to adopt new processes, including digital functionality, through delivering training, producing support documentation, and assisting users.
- You contribute to planning VMIA's digital roadmap, balancing individual team priorities and overall VMIA needs.

Who you work with
- You're a member of the Digital Enablement Team, which includes the Manager Digital Enablement, Digital Enablement Leads for Claims, Insurance, Finance and Data
- You're part of the Construction Team and you collaborate closely with the team to drive digital enablement.
- You're a voting member of the Client360 Continuous Improvement Governance Group
- You work closely with the Client360 Development and Implementation Teams
- You consult with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
- May provide information or report to the Program Control Board and Executive Leadership Team.

About you
- 3 to 5 years of business process analysis experience in a similar Digital/Business Analyst role.
- You must have knowledge and understanding of insurance products and lifecycles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as requirements elicitation techniques, process modeling, and user story writing.
- Experience working with Agile teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
