**Role Description/Criteria**

An exciting opportunity has opened up at St Damian's School and we are seeking a suitably qualified DigiTech/STEM teacher.

As a member of our learning community, the successful applicant will work as an active, supportive and positive staff member committed to providing learning opportunities that challenge and extend students in the area of technology.

The role is a 0.6 FTE position working on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning at the start of the 2023 school year. Days may be negotiated with successful applicant

The successful applicant will be willing and able to:

- be highly organised and self motivated and show a high degree of initiative
- be open to ongoing learning and development
- be enthusiastic, motivated and team orientated
- provide a quality digiTech program that supports students in the use of technology, transitioning to developing an innovative and enriching STEM Program
- possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Curriculum
- demonstrate a willingness to nurture the faith of all in our community, actively supporting our Catholic school vision

**Special Requirements**

**Applicants must have**:

- current VIT Registration
- accreditation to teach Religious Education, or a willingness to seek accreditation
- a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education.
