**Responsibilities**:

- Completing Job Safety Analysis and Work Completion Records in line with the company’s WHS and QA requirements.
- Undertake routine tasks in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
- Undertake ad-hoc and emergency repairs to plant and equipment as required.
- Maintain the facility and grounds in good and sound condition.
- Provide supervision and support to works conducted by external contractors
- Manage and catalogue all critical spare parts.
- Contribute to other maintenance works as required.

**Work Health and Safety**
- Actively participate in and demonstrate safety awareness behaviour relating to workplace health and safety.
- Adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for own safe working behaviour.
- At all times ensure that all team members are operating in a safe environment.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Preferably a trade background in either electrical, mechanical, plumbing or engineering.
- Has general mechanical skills, ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment safely.
- Has a good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems
- Competency in general maintenance activities and capable of adapting to a changing environment and priorities.
- Good understanding of food hygiene standards.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Extremely organised with effective communication skills.
- Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Like to work as part of a small, cohesive team.

We are looking for maintenance support during a ‘normal’ working week but there will be a need to work on weekends for works that cannot be completed during production hours.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hobart, TAS 7000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
