The roleReporting to the Executive Director, Disaster Management Branch the role will provide support in developing, implementing, coordinating, and managing Queensland Health's agency preparedness and response capability for disasters and emergency incidents, as well as major events.

**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:

- Ability to supervise a team, motivate staff and promote an environmaent where staff are supported to build capability and deliver outcomes.
- High-level experience in leading and managing complex projects within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs of work in complex environments, with range of stakeholders, utilising sound program management methodologies
- High-level knowledge, experience and understanding of contemporary principles of disaster management in a health service delivery environment.
- High-level experience in disaster management training and exercises.

Other requirements of the role
- Participate in shift arrangements as required for the State Health Emergency Coordination Centre.
