**Position Summary - **Reporting to the Business Manager and overseen by the Office Manager, the primary purpose of the Main Receptionist is as the first point of contact for the College both over the phone and face to face.

**Statement of Key Responsibilities - **As College Receptionist:

- Welcome and greet visitors to the College
- Operate the College switchboard
- Respond to general College enquiries

In support of the College operations generally
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail
- Upload mail to ELMS each day
- Manage all external and internal bus bookings (after three (3) months of induction)
- Maintain the College Bus calendar
- Assist with College mail-outs
- Manage all bookings for College vehicles
- Supervise the issuing of Visitors’ passes
- Perform assigned role under the College’s Disaster Management Plan
- Assist, as required, with student absence marking and follow up
- Log maintenance issues for Middle Years building
- Open and close the bus gates as required

**Knowledge and Experience**
- An understanding of Ministerial Order 1359 on Child Safety as it relates to the College’s Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- High level of punctuality and high standards expected around confidentiality
- Proficient in the use of computer software related to this position
- Proficiency in establishing and maintaining administrative processes
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
- Sound knowledge of the roles and positions in the school and the ability to be flexible. Working relationships
- Reports to the Business Manager, overseen by the Office Manager
- Works collaboratively with the Administration team to ensure the needs of the College are met. Conditions
